Why Edinburgh suits a holiday let
Edinburgh is where Amore works day to day. The team is here, and the homes we take on are chosen for character. A short-term let in the capital is a different brief from a Highland house. Guests come for the city itself: the Old and New Towns, the festivals, business travel, and a base they can walk from.
That suits apartments and townhouses with a sense of place. The collection sits on Calton Hill and Regent Terrace, in the Georgian New Town, and also in the Old Town, the West End and Dean Village. Georgian and historic homes, looked after properly, are what we know.
Owners are often not on the doorstep for every arrival, linen change and repair. That is the work of a manager. We have more than 20 years of combined experience as both property managers and property owners, so the conversation starts from both sides of the arrangement.

What Amore looks after in the city
We love property, people and letting, and we keep the portfolio deliberately small. In Edinburgh we look for unique, historic properties with character and a story.
There is no magic formula. A famous owner or a particular address is not required, but there is a clear preference for homes that can give a guest a special stay, rather than for volume. We also offer key holding and caretaking if you are considering a holiday let and are not ready to start.

Full management, framed around the property
Depending on the size and location of your property, we offer a full management service from 20 to 25 percent plus VAT, tailored to your requirements.
